Angel Tree Publishing provides uplifting educational materials and resources to Alzheimer caregivers of all types, ranging from family members to trained professionals. The concept for Angel Tree developed when the founder, Mary Ann Drummond, was approached by an attendee of an Alzheimer’s conference where she had presented. Ms. Drummond was asked if she would begin making her training materials available to the general public. The concept grew, and became a corporation that continues to expand, providing new and innovative care concepts related to Alzheimer’s and other conditions affecting seniors. In keeping with our mission, Angel Tree Publishing welcomes your posts and comments sharing links to articles or information you find helpful to share with senior caregivers.
Mary Ann Drummond, RN, CEO,
Angel Tree Publishing
Mary Ann Drummond has over thirty years of nursing experience and has spent the last thirteen years of her career as an executive, working in the assisted living industry. With responsibility for Alzheimer’s programming design and implementation for multiple special care programs, she has learned much from the greatest teachers of all, those who suffer daily with Alzheimer’s disease. Drummond has a passion for educating others in ways to successfully meet the needs of the Alzheimer’s patient and often dedicates time to present her unique concepts at care giver symposiums and various community health presentations.
Drummond began writing at a very young age, and she continues to write both personally and professionally. While she has many educational and trade related materials to her credit, she has only recently made her work available to the public. Drummond’s first book, “I Choose to Remember”, is a reminiscing therapy aid designed help individuals recapture the best of their yesterday. “Meet Me Where I Am”, Drummonds second book, is a comprehensive guide for Alzheimer’s caregivers.
Drummond’s writing style has been described as both intimate and poetic. Her appreciation for the God given beauty in life is reflected throughout her work. When not working or writing, Drummond enjoys spending time with her husband and family. She is currently working on a third book that focuses on ageism, and hopes to have it ready for release in 2015.
